Typical Arab Mentality: Whining!

It's been a while since I wrote anything. I don't know lately there are too many stuff like my personal life that prevents me to write. However, today I had to write about this. Today is the anniversary of Six Days Wars. I have included this clip which is not very significant; there many better clips. However, this is the shortest one I could find.

Today, the Arab League got together and had a moment of silent for the so called “crimes” committed against them. They are holding a moment of silent for the war that they initiated and started. It seems like they have forgotten many parts of history. Did they forget how Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq were all calling for throwing the Jews into see prior to the war? Did they forget how they thought they could destroy in couple of hours of their attack? Did they forget how Egyptian and Syrian thought they were invincible armies due to their top made soviet weaponry? Or did they forget about their fiery speeches in their universities by their leader about how Arabs will destroy the Jewish homeland and how it is a Muslim land? Well, now that they lost, they whining and crying like a little baby and asking the world for sympathy! It was through their idiotic policies whose only fuel was hatred of the Jews in Israel that resulted in such disaster for them. Yet, they are still whining like little babies about why they lost!!!

Got any message for the Arab league? Feel free to write it on the comment section.

Israel has long claimed that it launched the Six-Day War in 1967 to defend itself. Below are some statements made by Israeli leaders as well as some report excerpts that prove otherwise.

Israel’s former Commander of the Air Force, General Ezer Weitzman, regarded as a hawk, stated that there was “no threat of destruction” but that the attack on Egypt, Jordan and Syria was nevertheless justified so that Israel could “exist according the scale, spirit, and quality she now embodies.” Menahem Begin, the first Likud Prime Minister of Israel, also said: “In June 1967, we again had a choice. The Egyptian Army concentrations in the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him.” "Noam Chomsky, "The Fateful Triangle."

"I do not think Nasser wanted war. The two divisions he sent to The Sinai would not have been sufficient to launch an offensive war. He knew it and we knew it." Yitzhak Rabin, Israel's Chief of Staff in 1967, in Le Monde on 28 February 1968.

“Deliberately provoked by Israel”
"Moshe Dayan, the celebrated commander who, as Defense Minister in 1967, gave the order to conquer the Golan...[said] many of the firefights with the Syrians were deliberately provoked by Israel, and the kibbutz residents who pressed the Government to take the Golan Heights did so less for security than for the farmland... They didn't even try to hide their greed for the land...We would send a tractor to plow some area where it wasn't possible to do anything, in the demilitarized area, and knew in advance that the Syrians would start to shoot. If they didn't shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance further, until in the end the Syrians would get annoyed and shoot. And then we would use artillery and later the air force also, and that's how it was...The Syrians, on the fourth day of the war, were not a threat to us.'" The New York Times, May 11, 1997.

What happened after the Six-Day War?
"In violation of international law, Israel has confiscated over 52 percent of the land in the West Bank and 30 percent of the Gaza Strip for military use or for settlement by Jewish civilians...From 1967 to 1982, Israel's military government demolished 1,338 Palestinian homes on the West Bank. Over this period, more than 300,000 Palestinians were detained without trial for various periods by Israeli security forces." Lockman and Beinin: "Intifada: The Palestinian Uprising Against Israeli Occupation."

"Under the UN Charter there can lawfully be no territorial gains from war, even by a state acting in self-defense. The response of other states to Israel's occupation shows a virtually unanimous opinion that even if Israel's action was defensive, its retention of the West Bank and Gaza Strip was not...The [UN] General Assembly characterized Israel's occupation of the West Bank and Gaza as a denial of self determination and hence a 'serious and increasing threat to international peace and security.' " John Quigley, "Palestine and Israel: A Challenge to Justice."

All Jewish settlements in territories occupied in the 1967 war are a direct violation of the Geneva Conventions, which Israel has signed.
"The Geneva Convention requires an occupying power to change the existing order as little as possible during its tenure. One aspect of this obligation is that it must leave the territory to the people it finds there. It may not bring its own people to populate the territory. This prohibition is found in the convention's Article 49, which states, 'The occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.'" John Quigley, "Palestine and Israel: A Challenge to Justice."

Those quotes are not very reliable because most of the people who are using quotes are extremely biased. These quotes could be taken out of context.

Again, if you look at the retoric prior to the war, when Nasser would keep calling for throwing the jews into the sea, you would realize that there was a plan to destroy Israel. Nasser might not have been ready for the war at that time, but because of his stupidity to call for such even and playing with emotions of his citizens, when the whole crisis had started, he could not have backed down and it was only the matter of time if he would have attacked. Israel did not have the military capability to defend itself if Israel would have been attacked first. Israel could not have stood down because it was the right thing.

Come on mr. Anonymous, it was obvious Egypt was getting ready to destroy Israel with assistance from Syria. Even when the war started, Israel warned Jordan that do no enter the war. Remember that?!? Yet King of Jordan answered and said he was under obligation. You don't need any quotes to prove that; it is in history books that you don't read.

Another important factor about that war is it was soviet union who start the rumor that Israel had moblized in the north with Syria. Israel took the Soviet Diplomat, in the car and took him to the north and asked him about where is the mobilization that he talked about?! It was soviet union who was encourage both Syria and Egypt to attack Israel because they thought they could have destroyed Israel. At the same time, there is another report comming out of why Soviet Union had so much stake in this war.

Again, those quotes are extremely irrelevant and they cannot be used to rewrite history. The evidence that hisotry has seen is a lot overwhelming than what frauds such as Noah Chomsky are trying to portray to the world.

Re-read the quotes again and face the facts. If you think they're taken out of context, then make the argument by putting them into context.

Still apologizing for Israeli terror, I see. They are the words of your leaders no matter who the poster is, stop running from the truth.

YOU KNOW WHO THIS IS.

yes they have been taken out of context. You read the history and then try formulate your argument. It is very clear that Arabs had been arming themselves to destroy Israel. It is a very simple argument that people like you try to deny. It was Arabs who did not want to recognize Israel and were doing everything in their power to destroy it. Come on Pouya, stop with the non-sense of Israel conspired to destroyed all the neighboring countries and stuff like that.

I am glad you are actually bringing this up, because in your opinion Israel is trying to destroy Palestinians, but again, these so called Palestinians did not become Palestnians until we took the land in 1967, they were called Jordanians! So to some extend you are destroying your own argument here.
