Tough Times for Hezbollah

I saw this article and the first thing that popped out in my mind was wow! Hezbollah is trying to amend relations with Lebanese in order to establish itself as a legitimate force in the region elected by the people for the people. Hezbollah is trying act affectionate toward Lebanese Army simply to buy their love due to the outcome of the tribunal that will be released soon. Funniest part is that in this article, Nasrallah is thanking Lebanese Army for their effort to remove the camera. They are alleging the Cameras are from Israel with absolutely no proof. It is no coincidence that these Cameras were discovered at this time and Hezbollah asks Lebanese Army to remove them and then thank them.
Basically, Hezbollah is trying to legitimize itself even further in advance given possibility of being found guilty of killing Hariri. If the tribunal holds Hezbollah responsible for killing of Hariri, it would reaffirm the claim that Hezbollah is nothing but the tools of regional powers such as Iran and Syria. The outcome of this tribunal will simply affirm Israel’s claim that Hezbollah is not looking after Lebanon’s best interest, rather they would pursue national interest of foreign governments and put it even ahead of Lebanon’s national interests. It would also create further rift between regional religions within Lebanon showing that the Shias are simply not after the best interest of Lebanon, rather they are looking to gain power and advance their religion in the country.
Given the situation in Lebanon and how tense it is there, Hezbollah is also facing a new problem. Hezbollah must go through massive budget cuts. The reason is because Iran has been hit hard with sanctions and they can no longer fund terrorist activities of their illegitimate children in the region. This article (click Here for the Article) argues that Iran has cut Hezbollah’s budget by at least 40%. Here is even crazier part: Iran annually funds Hezbollah with at least one billion dollars. You look at Iran and the staggering poverty, up to 20% prostitution rate, and many other economical problems, you would have to ask yourself: how crazy is this Iranian government to waste Iranian money like that just for religious reasons and is it sane to allow these crazies acquire a nuclear capability?! So now Hezbollah has to go through massive budget cuts for their terrorist activities and of course they can no longer bride their supporters in southern part of Lebanon as much as before, so they will surely come across problems dealing with the people.
With their legitimacy under question, Hezbollah keeps threatening the region and the international community that they would not hand over anybody to the tribunal. Of course, it is crucial for them to never accept responsibility. In groups like these, taking accountability is never an option. They will always lie to their citizens and keep them in dark. You could see the same thing in Palestinian governments, terrorist groups, Iranian government, and many other Arab and Muslim countries. For them taking responsibility for their action is like kiss of death. So they will fight if they have to and they might even conduct a violent takeover in Lebanon if they have to, but they will not delegitimize themselves and take accountability for their acts. At the same time, their budget is being cut.
So things are not looking good for Hezbollah in Lebanon now. That’s why we’re seeing Hezbollah first trying to legitimize its existence through threat of Israel and demonizing and exaggerating threat of Israel in the region. With that, they are also trying to make friends with Lebanese through using Lebanese Army and praising them for their effort to show that they are a nationalistic force in the country and they are faithful to the best interest of Lebanon. So they are killing two birds with a stone. It will be interesting what the future will bring.

Yom Kippur: Day of Forgiveness

Today is start of Yom Kippur. It is the day that Jews will try to ask G-d for forgiveness. It is also the last day to have obtained forgiveness from people we have hurt or saddened. One might ask how hard it is to ask forgiveness and/or obtain forgiveness. Nowadays, a lot of Jews, using up to date technology, will write mass Texts, Facebook Status, or Twitter to ask for forgiveness. It is a very arbitrary and childish act. If one is making an attempt to obtain forgiveness, according to Jewish law, just asking for forgiveness is not enough. They have to make necessary efforts to obtain that forgiveness. Then how would the Jewish Law define obtaining forgiveness?
According to Jewish Laws, one must first think very hard and analyze his past year’s acts. Through that, that person must first be truly honest to himself and figure out whether anybody could have got hurt, mad, sad, embarrassed, or ridiculed by his acts whether his acts were intentional or unintentional. After that, they have to go up to that person and expressly ask for forgiveness and state specifically the reason for what they are asking for forgiveness. They must be sincere in their apology and it should not be arbitrary just because Jewish Law is requiring him. He or she must do anything and everything reasonable to obtain that forgiveness. If one truly makes the effort to obtain the victim’s forgiveness, the victim MUST forgive the other person. This is the spirit of the Yom Kippur and it should be done before Yom Kippur. After obtaining that forgiveness, that person who has committed the act must actually ask from G-d for forgiveness for sins he has committed during the year and all the people he have hurt. According to Jewish Law, G-d WILL to forgive your sins if you have truly asked for forgiveness from others, because the logic is that “if the Human beings are that forgiving which is a positive act, The G-d Almighty, who is the Creator and Designer of the all Humans and everything that is positive cannot be Forgiving?” After Yom Kippur, that person is obligated to have truly improved his acts toward others and that person MUST make efforts to prevent himself from committing the same acts or saying the same things to others that might hurt them. THIS IS THE SPIRIT OF YOM KIPPUR.
However, in today’s society where everything is mocked including religion, people simply send a mass text to everybody asking for forgiveness. As much as it is a nice gesture, however it becomes truly annoying when somebody is asking for forgiveness in such a impersonalize fashion. If that is not enough, you would receive hundreds of Texts asking for forgiveness, and on top of that, sometime you would see the same text you received from different person. The person who was truly hurt by that person’s act would think, “What? I am not worthy of your time so that you’d pick up the phone and talk to me?!”
In conclusion, Yom Kippur should not be the reason that we ask for forgiveness. In all aspects of life, we should be careful not to hurt others’ feelings. With that said, I hope all my Jewish friends have an easy fast.

Military Channel’s Documentary about Israeli Commandos

I have always enjoyed watching Military Channel. However, I never ever thought these guys would go this far and might I add that I am pleasantly surprised. Well, here is a documentary about Israeli Commandos. While you are watching these clips, just try to pay attention what is the ultimate message that these commandos are sending or what is the motive behind every soldier. As oppose to Terrorist apologists and fighter of religion of peace or Arab countries, they are not saying: we’re here to kill, destroy, or ruin. Rather, they are motivated by protecting their citizens. That’s the ultimate difference between the two sides: one is there to kill and destroy because they are motivated by hatred and lack of tolerance for another religion’s right to establish their existence as a nation and the other is there to protect its citizens and their safety and security. Enjoy the documentary ;)

Miracles in the Mist of Dark Times

I know a lot of Palestinian Terrorist, Apologists, and their supporters in this country first deny the Holocaust and then they use it as a theme for their own struggles. However, there are stories like this that just reminds of who is the Nazi in this story and who is the victim. When I read this story, it reminded me of the same miracles where the Nazi soldier's gun would get jammed and the Jew was able to escape. Now, we see the similar stories in Israel. Wherever a Jew goes, miracles like these tend to follow them. Ironic part is that it is the same animals who use the Nazi theme for their fraudulent cause to justify committing horrific acts like these. Here is the source of the story, but I have also copied and pasted it here.

Moreno describes ‘miracle’ escape from Hamas attacker
By BEN HARTMAN AND KHALED ABU TOAMEH
09/03/2010 02:13

Couple wounded in West Bank shooting saved by terrorist's rifle malfunction which allowed them to hide in roadside ditch. A husband and wife who were wounded in a shooting attack on Wednesday night in the West Bank escaped death when one of the attackers’ guns jammed and they were able to hide in a nearby ditch.

Ma’aleh Efrayim resident Moshe Moreno told Army Radio on Thursday that he and his wife, Shira, were driving on Route 60 when a car pulled up behind them and began “riding his bumper.”

Moreno said he waved to the driver, signaling him to pass, and “then we took a turn and the car passed us and opened fire.”

The terrorists sprayed the car with automatic rifle fire and the vehicle spun out of control, overturning on the side of the road.

The attackers approached the car when suddenly, amid the hail of gunfire, one of their rifles malfunctioned, and the Morenos were able to escape.

“One of the guns jammed and we took the chance to roll out of the car and take cover,” Moshe said.

The Morenos hid in a ditch and called police, who rushed to the scene to search for the assailants.

Moreno added that he and his wife, who was lightly wounded, were lucky that the shooting took place as they were driving on an incline, saying that if the gunmen had attacked as they were heading downhill they would probably have plunged off the road to their deaths.

Speaking from his hospital bed, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the shoulder, Moreno told Channel 2 that as the gunmen passed his car they “opened fire from, at most, one meter away. Luckily, I was only hit in the shoulder.”

The incident was the second in two days in the West Bank, both claimed by Hamas. In a terror attack outside Kiryat Arba on Tuesday night, gunmen riddled a car with bullets, killing four residents of the settlement of Beit Hagai.

Moments after that shooting, paramedics rushed to the scene, including Zaka rescue and recovery organization volunteer Maimon Even-Haim, whose wife, Kochava, was among the four victims.

Even-Haim’s friends in the rescue unit tried to keep him from reaching the car where his wife lay mortally wounded, but he could not be swayed.

Speaking to Channel 2 on Wednesday, Even-Haim said, “She looked so beautiful, so pure. I kept telling her, I’m here, I’m here, but she didn’t move.”

Even-Haim said his colleagues told him his wife died instantly, but when he arrived he could tell that “she didn’t. I saw her face and could tell she didn’t die right away.”

A Palestinian Authority security source said on Thursday that its men had seized the car used in the Beit Hagai attack.

The source said that the car was found in Hebron and that the PA security forces were now questioning several suspects linked to the vehicle.

The source refused to comment on reports that the PA has arrested two men suspected of involvement in the attack.

The PA security forces have arrested more than 300 Palestinians from different parts of the West Bank since the attack.

The crackdown has been described as the largest security operation by the PA since its inception.

Hamas, however, announced that the number of those arrested by the PA in the past 48 hours had reached 550. It said another 1,500 Palestinians suspected of affiliation with Hamas had been summoned for interrogation by the various branches of the PA’s security services.

Hamas said that the detainees included prominent political figures, physicians, engineers, university students, former security prisoners who were released from Israeli jails, and relatives and friends of Hamas legislators living in the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses told The Jerusalem Post that the Fatah-dominated security forces also rounded up dozens of worshipers as they emerged from mosques following evening prayers in many cities and villages.

Turkey’s Attempt to Fix Ties with Israel

Not a while ago, I read this report by this professor regarding how Turkey does not need Israel. The professor even went further to claim that Turkey does not need the West either. He even claimed that it is the West who needs Turkey because Turkey is the bridge between the West and the Muslim Middle East. The professor argued his case through cultural and economic stand point, none of which in my opinion has any basis. It was a simple wishful Anti-Israel thinking to justify an Islamic takeover of Turkey.
Oh well, as time went on, it was proven to be false. For those who are not my friends on Facebook, I did not write anything about it on my blog. However, I argued on my Facebook that Turkey will have to backtrack no matter what the results is or how the world reacts to Flotilla incident. I predicted that the world and especially Europe are taking notes about Turkey’s involvement. I must confess that I did not expect how soon that prediction would come true.
Here is the News Article. As it is shown, Turkey has to shift its policy. Turkey had no other choice but to be friends with Israel. As much as Erdogan would love to destroy that alliance, Turkey’s role as a key figure in the Middle East is directly tied with its alliance with Israel. Even at this point that Turkey is trying to make friendly gestures toward Israel, members of Congress and Jewish leaders do not trust Erdogan and the reason for it is very clear. Erdogan comes from a party with Islamic background and tenancies. Erdogan was also suspected of being an Islamist before he was even elected. His harsh criticism of Israel resembles rhetoric from Iran and other terrorist harboring nations who use Islam as a tool for legitimacy. At the same time, Erdogan had the audacity and of course out of pure stupidity to claim that Israel’s policy toward Palestinians is worst than what is going on in Darfur where more than 100,000 people have been brutally murdered by Arab/Muslim militias. Of course, the only reason he is not condemning the crimes in Darfur just like other Leftists’ or Arab leaders is due to the fact that the group who is committing all the crime happens to be Muslims. Erdogan claims that his support for Palestinian is notioned in his thirst for humanity and human rights. However, it does not take an idiot to see that Erdogan is a closet Islamist and his biased views toward Israel is rooted in his religious beliefs that Israel does not have the right to exist in what he claims to be a Muslim land.
Of course, this view is shared with a lot of pro-Palestinian Muslim supporters who simply do not care for the living condition of Palestinians. Perfect example of this is some Iranian students in Diaspora who are die hard Pro-Palestinian fans. When you ask them, what Arabs have done for you that you support their terrorist and fraudulent cause like that; their only response is because “I support Human Rights for all people.” However, in their blogs or publications, you do not see a word condemning what is happening in Darfur. When you call them out as to why have you dedicated most of your blogs to condemn Israel and not a word about what is going on in Darfur, they simply respond, “I don’t have time to condemn every Human Right violation in the world.”
As it is shown, people like Erdogan and those bloggers are fueled not by love for Human Rights, rather than it is hatred. It is the hatred of Jews and the Jewish State that motivates these people to act the way they do, to say things that they say, and believe what they believe. I remember, after Flotilla incident, CNN was interviewing this Persian girl who was on Flotilla about what took place. The girl started just pure Anti-Israel rants and lies about what had taken place. Of course, this was right before Israel releases the footages from what had happened. She said lie after lie about how Israel entered the ship opening fire indiscriminately, without any warning, and how ruthless the soldiers were after boarding the ship. Later it was shown that it was the terrorist passenger of the love boat who attacked and attempted to lynch the commandos that boarded the ship with paint-guns. As it is obvious, the hatred of Jews and Israel motivates a person to go on national T.V and lie like that to justify a cause. People like Erdogan are not motivated by love for Human Rights. They are motivated by hatred.
This hatred is the reason why U.S. Congress and American Jews do not trust Erdogan and people like him. At the end, it will take a lot more for Turkey to restore its reputation in the world stage as a serious key figure. It is irrelevant how economically powerful they are in the region, if they choose to behave like Iran and other terrorist nations, they will simply lose their status. That also goes against what Atta Turk had wished for Turkey. What Erdogan did toward Israel was incredibly stupid and of course it was financed by Iran. A lot of people suspect that Erdogan and Turkey will pay a heavy price for it. Erdogan is incredibly popular in Turkey and of course that is thanks to hatred of Jews and Israel in Turkey. However, Europe and the U.S will not trust Turkey for a long time as an ally. So the last question is, was it really worth for Erdogan to defame Israel (make no mistake, what he did to defame Israel was brilliant-no body caused Israel that much damage like what Erdogan did) given the current results for Turkey? If you ask me, he will certainly do it again.

Unbelievable Story of a Mother who Lost a Son in Gaza

This is a true story that is going around in Israel. It blew my mind. So I am going to use such an inspiring story to make my come back to the blog world.

Dvir Aminolav was the first Israeli soldier killed in the 2008 Gaza War. His mother Dalya missed Dvir, terribly. One night before she went to bed, she said in a loud voice: "G-d, give me a sign, give me a hug from Dvir so that I will know that his death had some meaning."

That week her daughter asked her to accompany her to a musical performance at The International Crafts Festival in Jerusalem. Dalya, feeling quite depressed, did not want to go to the concert, but she didn't want to disappoint her daughter either, and agreed to go halfheartedly. The concert was a bit delayed. A two-year-old boy began wandering through the stands. He walked up to Dalya's seat and touched her on the shoulder. A preschool teacher, Dalya turned around, saw the boy and smiled warmly.

"What's your name?" Dalya asked.

"Eshel," the boy replied.

"That's a nice name. Do you want to be my friend, Eshel?" The boy nodded in reply and sat down next to Dalya.

Eshel's parents were sitting two rows above. Concerned their little boy was bothering Dalya, they asked him to come back up. But Dalya insisted that everything was fine.

"I have a brother named Dvir," two-year-old Eshel chimed in, as only little children can. Dalya was shocked to hear the unusual name of her beloved son, and walked up the two rows to where Eshel's parents were sitting. She saw a baby in his carriage, and apologizing, she asked, "If you don't mind me asking, how old is your baby and when was he born?"

The baby's mother replied, "He was born right after the war in Gaza."

Dalya swallowed hard. "Please tell me, why did you choose to name him Dvir?"

Baby Dvir's mother began to explain. "When I was at the end of my pregnancy, the doctors suspected the fetus may have a very serious birth defect. Since it was the end of the pregnancy, there was little the doctors could do and I just had to wait and see how things would turn out.

When I went home that night, the news reported that the first casualty in the war was a soldier named Dvir. I was so saddened by this news that I decided to make a deal with G-d. 'If you give me a healthy son,' I said in my prayer, 'I promise to name him Dvir, in memory of the soldier that was killed.'"

Dalya, the mother of Dvir, stood with her mouth open. She tried to speak but she couldn't. After a long silence, she said quietly, "I am Dvir's mother."

The young parents didn't believe her. She repeated, "Yes, it's true. I am Dvir's mother. My name is Dalya Aminalov, from Pisgat Zeev."

With a sudden inspiration, Baby Dvir's mother handed Dalya the baby and said, "Dvir wants to give you a hug."

Dalya held the little baby boy in her arms and looked into his angelic face. The emotion she felt at that moment was overwhelming. She had asked for a hug from Dvir - and she could truly feel his warm and loving embrace from the World of Truth.

Thank you Meir for the story ;)

Hope

It is been a very long time I haven’t written anything. What can I say, this is when the real life happens and you are forced to work long hours.
Anyways, in the world of politics, I try not to even check the news. Things are not good and of course our beloved President, Barrack Hussein Obama is proving all of my predictions. The best example is his treatment of Israel.
I cannot believe that Israel is forced to stop construction of buildings in its eternal capital. I think Bibi said it the best, “JERUSALEM IS NOT A SETTLEMENT, IT IS OUR CAPITAL.” Besides that, Obama is just showing its true face. I am still amazed at the Jews who supported this moron as a president. With regards to Health Care Bill, I don’t know what to say. All I could say is that Universal Health Care has never worked and I have no doubt that it won’t work here either. When was the last time that government took over an industry and it actually worked and generated long term profit?! Government track record with regards to taking over private sector is the best indication of the future failure that we will witness. I cannot wait to see that going to doctor has become like going to DMV. Bunch of good for nothing, freeloaders government workers who don’t give a damn about you or your business and they act as if they are doing you a favor by JUST DOING THEIR JOBS! Isn’t that amazing? Well we voted for this guy.
What Republican Party is doing is another argument. With regards to Tea Party Movement, I really don’t know much about them. There are a lot of rumors about Liberal groups posing as Tea Members and holding signs that are racist and things are spelled incorrectly. Again, I don’t know the details; therefore I will refrain from supporting or opposing them. If the Libs are proven to be doing such act, well I am not surprised.
With regards to Israel, things are not good for Israel and it is all U.S’s fault. However, things are not going well for Obama either. November elections are coming up and he needs to turn things around. All together, I hope he changes his methods with regards to Israel and his expansion of government.
I will be posting more stuff soon. Sorry for the long delay! 
