ElBaradei Needs to Get Real

Why is it that when someone is powerless, they tend to raise issues that are completely bogus? That is a good question to ask noble peace prize winner and head of worthless IAEA Mohamed ElBaradei. He slammed Israel for attacking Syrian target on September. Click here for the article. He condemns Israel and alleges that Israel “took the law into his own” and he demanded more information about what was hit. He said:
That, to me, is very distressful because we have a system; if countries have information that the country is working on a nuclear-related program, they should come to us. We have the authority to go out and investigate. But to bomb first and then ask questions later, I think it undermines the system and it doesn't lead to any solution to any suspicion, because we are the eyes and ears of the international community.” The first part of his argument is completely flawed. “Israel took the law into his own hand.
What laws is he referring to? Is he referring to international law? I hope he is not going there. But for the sake of the argument, let’s analyze that aspect of his argument. Technically Israel and Syria are in state of war and therefore no violation has been made. If the U.N. wants to pass a resolution to condemn the attack, that is a different story, but there was no violation of laws. Syria even confirmed that it was a military target. It was not a civilian target; therefore this idiot is blowing hot air. In conclusion, no violation has taken place.
Let’s assume for the sake of the argument again that Israel did violate international law. IAEA is judging this position with no right to do so. They have absolutely no jurisdiction to take any action or make any comments about it. Why does IAEA claim that Israel should have come to us? Again, it was a military target, and so IAEA has no right to partake on the matter. They are making this claim based on assumption. Why is it an assumption? The reasoning lies behind the absence of an official government agent on either side. It has been confirmed that Israel, Syria and the United States that it was in fact a military facility. Furthermore, taking this as a safe assumption based on reports from various news agencies will still not suffice to an actual and official comment.
He then goes even further to say that the action was distressful. It is amazing to me how simple minded this person is when he talks about this matter. Of course the action is distressful, it required a lot of planning, commando units on grounds, top of the line technology to dismantle Russian Radars and SAM systems (purchased and paid for by Iran), and long hours of practice. There were explosions and it involved violence, therefore this action is distressful. Sometimes distressful actions are needed to prevent a catastrophe and to protect your country. The only remedy he presents is to use his system. The good question is when was the last time IAEA was able to prevent a single country from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Israel’s record is clear so far: 2 nuclear facilities have been destroyed. How do IAEA records look now? None, zero, Zip! IAEA is completely worthless when it comes to forcing countries to abandon their nuclear programs. Libya voluntarily dismantles his nuclear facility and IAEA had no idea it even existed.
Mr. ElBaradei goes even further to allege that we have the authority to investigate. Again, Israel tried taking that road with Iran. They relied on IAEA and international community. The result is nothing but a mess. I do not want to assume or claim that Israel will or will not take action against Iran, but the report card of IAEA is extremely messy when it comes to Iran. Just a while ago they claimed that Iran is not building a bomb. This claim was dismissed even by France. I have no idea how he could make such claim with a straight face.
Frankly, statements like these shows how worthless this whole organization is. The fact of the matter that he even won Noble Peace Prize was simply for political purpose. Mr. ElBaradei and IAEA is completely powerless and the fact that he even alleges that they were going to investigate make you ask: what if you do investigate and by some strange phenomenon or miracle you come to correct conclusion that Syria is building a nuclear facility, what is next? How are you going to punish the Syrians? By what army are you going to stop Syrians? Sanction will not do any harm and a person with a healthy brain knows it. Israel will not rely on worthless and powerless group to ensure its security and it is time for Mr. ElBaradei to get real.

Californians Stand Together

When I moved down to San Diego a year ago, I thought this city was paradise. However, since last week, this city has turned into hell. I have never seen anything like this in my whole entire life. We went through a hell week and now I am back in Los Angeles. The classes were canceled for most of the week but for the most part people were worried about who would be evacuated or not. However, from every major disaster, you will get to know the real heroes. In this disaster, it was average Californians. Even though many politicians such as some dumb moron senators tried to blame it on Bush and Global Warming, yet Californians in Southern California really stepped up to the plate. We would hear in TV that a high school has opened its door for evacuees and they are in needs of blanket, within ten minutes, the TV spokesman would say, they are no longer in need of such item. It was an amazing scene. There are many stories and scenes that many residence would never forget about this fire. And of course, who could forget the brave fire fighters. Some of these local firefighters were on shift for 18 hours straight with very little to eat. We could look at the destruction and be depressed, but I am sure a lot of local residence look at how the city came together to fight this disaster.

A lot of people tried to politicize this disaster and by a lot of people I am referring to dumb Democrats and liberals. They first tried to blame it on global warming, as if through out world’s history, there has never been a fire anywhere around the glob! Then they were looking for anything to blame it on Bush or somehow undermine the efforts that Federal Government or Arnold had taken. Again, I am not arguing for any side, but what I despise is that these groups try to take any advantage to seek for their own personal goals even if it is a major disaster. This is the perfect example why many things that these Liberals stand for are fake. Therefore, this whole BS that they talk about that they want what is best for the country is nothing but hot air. But again, just as always they failed miserably. I am just glad California and especially San Diego came together and took care of this matter rationally and in a civilized manner. In other disasters not too long ago, we saw a totally different scene where rape, murder, mayhem and many other crimes were committed at a time of disaster. In San Diego, it was the exact opposite and people just looked after one another. Even though the destruction is vast, yet I have no doubt that San Diego will bounce back and restore itself to the paradise it used to be before last Sunday

Two Heroes of Lebanon War

This is a great clip talking about heroes of Lebanon war. I wrote extensively on the second person in the clip. Click here for the link. This is a great look at people who fought in that war and what they sacrificed.

Diplomat Hotel in Jerusalem

This is the third time my grand mother has been in the News. Some luck she has! This is the third time that places I have been to are mentioned in BBC. The first time was when I was in Kubbutz Yagur and five member of our Kibbutz from the same family (three generations: Grandmothers, Son and Wife, and their kids) were brutally murdered by a slutty Palestinian terrorist who blew herself up. (Click Here for the full story). The second time was a bus was blown up in Jerusalem two blocks away from my grandmother. And now this article: Diplomat Hotel is where my grandmother was staying. When she moved to Israel in 1997, she was a national icon and she was on the front page every single Israeli newspaper. I am going to write an article about that later. She was staying in this hotel for almost ten years and she just moved out three months ago to a place where there are more Persian elders, so she would not be alone. Now, BBC wrote an article about diplomat hotel. Looking at that picture, I remember like yesterday that I would go visit her every time I would go to Jerusalem. Click here for the article. I have also copy and pasted it.

Immigrants rooted in Israeli 'little Russia'
By Raffi Berg
BBC News, Jerusalem

With renewed debate in Israel over its immigration laws, few places reflect the experience of its largest immigrant community as closely as one former luxury hotel in a south-east corner of Jerusalem.

The former five-star hotel has become a Russian enclave

After closing its doors to holidaymakers and honeymooners in the late 1980s and reopening as an absorption centre, the Diplomat in the Arnona district became for many emigres a transit point to a new beginning - an Israeli Ellis Island.

"In 1991, when the floodgates opened, many former Soviet Jews wanted to live in Jerusalem, which they knew as their spiritual home, but they had nowhere to go, so the government just put them in hotels, like this one," said Alice Jonah, the Diplomat's semi-retired Cultural Director.

"Over the years, they closed the other hotels and people who couldn't find any other accommodation moved here, which, for many of them, is a blessing."

At its peak, the hotel housed some 1,800 "guests", including hundreds of Ethiopian Jewish immigrants, spirited to Israel in Operation Solomon in May, 1991.

"It was a wonderful, exciting day when the Ethiopians arrived," recalled Ms Jonah, "but the experiment didn't work out too well. There was such a disparity between the two groups."

The government dealt with the two communities differently, paying for the Ethiopians' food and rent, while the residents from the former Soviet Union were given a small payment but had to largely fend for themselves.

Tensions boiled over in a violent brawl in the summer of 1991, after which the Ethiopians moved out and were absorbed into the country.

For the "Soviets" however, adjustment came harder, and 16 years after it opened as a temporary shelter, the Diplomat remains a little part of Russia and home for some 600 people.

Tenuous ties

Russian culture is all-pervasive at the hotel, now ageing like most of its residents.

The building houses a Russian library in which eminent Jewish writers from former Soviet republics peer down from portraits on the walls.

Larisa Komolov and other residents came to escape anti-Semitism
Residents, many of them WWII veterans, commemorate Red Army Day, the anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany.

Russian, rather than Hebrew, is still the predominant spoken language, a barrier to integration for some and symptomatic of a wider feeling of nostalgia for Russian culture.

Judaism, and the study of Hebrew, were however severely repressed for decades under the Soviet regime.

"If I had tried to learn Hebrew in Russia, I would have ended up in Siberia," said 77-year-old Larisa Komolov, a former geometric engineering teacher from Moscow.

Ms Komolov said she emigrated to the Jewish state because of rising anti-Semitism in Russia.

Ironically it was a recent manifestation of hatred towards Jews among some immigrants from the former Soviet Union which has spawned calls for the country's immigration laws to be tightened.

When they saw Jewish customs and religious holidays again some of the older people underwent a kind of renaissance

Alice Jonah
Diplomat cultural director

According to Israel's Law of Return, anyone with at least one Jewish grandparent is granted automatic citizenship rights.

The start of the collapse of the Soviet Union facilitated a mass exodus of Jews, and more than a million of its citizens settled in Israel under the law.

Many of those immigrants however had little or no connection to Judaism and have failed to assimilate.

This situation has bred feelings of alienation and has been given by some as a reason for the emergence in a Tel Aviv suburb this year of an eight-strong neo-Nazi cell, all of whom were from the former Soviet Union and two of whom had Jewish mothers.

Uncertain future

When they arrived in Israel, many of the Diplomat's older Jewish residents also had little or no knowledge of their religious heritage.

"As children they were exposed to Judaism, but for years it was forbidden and just stayed dormant in the back of their minds," said Ms Jonah.

"Here, when they saw Jewish customs and religious holidays again some of the older people underwent a kind of renaissance. They rediscovered religion and they loved it. It gave them a new lease of life."

Meanwhile the hotel itself faces an uncertain future. Its lease expires in 2009 and it could finally be forced to shut.

"The government will have to find a place for each and every person here, but it will not be easy, as they have nowhere else to go," said Ms Jonah.

For some, relocation may bring them more within the fold of Israeli society, but for many of the Diplomat's elderly residents it will be a move many years too late.

Meet a Bigot Called Ann Coulter

Ann Coulter, one of prominent conservative mouth piece has just showed me that there is no safe heaven for Jews in any political arena. When we were in Islamic nations, the Jews were treated as 3rd class citizens and lacked many basic human rights compare to other citizens. In Nazi era, well we all know what happened there. It was no heaven either. In Leftists Marxists, Jews were sent to prisons and many of them were not heard of. As a matter of fact, Marxist in his writing in a chapter titled “The Jewish Question”, slammed Judaism and Jews as a whole and it was no surprise that Soviet Russia clamped down hard on Jews. Then we get to modern day political views such as Liberalism: they bash Israel left and right and they even sympathize with groups and people such as David Duke in denying Holocaust. They constantly try to humanize and justify this idiotic leader of Iran (Dr. Ahmadijihad) and blame everything on Israel. Then as we thought we had friends, we see conservative right wing whack jobs!

This idiot Ann says that Jews needs to be converted to Christianity in order to be imperfect. Click Here for the link to the story. For the love of G-d, how stupid could she get? Then she has the nerves to laugh and make it sound like as if she was joking?! Well, I have a message for her: there were stupid jokes and rhetoric like this that caused many pilgrims in Europe in early stages. She just proved to everyone that she is completely uneducated and nothing but a bigot. If she really knew about the Founding fathers and the concept American Christianity, she would have known that American Christians did not believe Jews to be imperfect by converting to Christianity. In Europe, there was this idea that Jews were the chosen people, but since they committed sins, this title was taken away from them and now the Christians are the chosen one. This inclined a lot of those Christians to force convert a lot of Jews or just kill them.

American style of Christianity was exactly the opposite. American Christianity believed that the Jews are still the chosen people by G-d. However, Jesus Christ opened up the Bible to other “Gentiles” and etc…. I am not going into too much detail in terms of religion. The important aspect of the argument is that the Founding fathers did not consider themselves above the Jews in terms of religion. As a matter of fact, they had a firm belief that if they help the Jews, G-d will bless them and this is what G-d wants. How do they know that? There is this passage in Bible in the Old Testament that a lot of Protestant Christians, even today believe in it which says, “bless is he who bless the tribe of Israel; cursed is the one who curse the tribe of Israel.” Amazingly today, a lot of these Christians still believe in that passage. This is the reason why the Founding Fathers made sure that United States Constitution included an amendment that allows for Freedom of religion and they wanted to provide Jews with some freedom to practice their religion. Another proof is that under Liberty Belt, if you look at it: there are passages are written in Hebrew. Another example is that in Harvard, up until 1870 or 1880, all students had to learn Hebrew.

Now this bigot mouth piece claims that the Jews need to be converted to Christianity. This is a living proof that Israel and the Jews cannot rely on any sect, family, religion, country, or any group for its protection. No matter where we go, Israel and the Jews should be able to defend themselves against anybody. From Islamists to Christians to peace loving Liberals, you could never trust anybody with your life line. Israel has to stand on its two feet.

I appreciate all the support that Israel receives from the conservatives in this country; however it does not mean I should sit quietly and let them say something as stupid and dangerous as that. I always disliked her because of the way she carried herself and now she gave me a reason to hate her. I am just wondering if she feels that way about Jews, how she feels about Muslim, Buddhists, Hindus, and many other religions. I swear if David Duke, who is a new found hero of liberals these days, would have got a sex-change operation and wore a blond wig, I would not be able to tell the difference. I know a lot of conservatives and Christians do not think like her, however the sad part is that there are some uneducated one that do and that is why we still have some bigotry in conservative movement. Even though it is not the same type of Liberal anti-Semitism who tries to justify their position through replacing the word Jews with Zionism, it is still wrong and should be condemned.

Good Palestinians, Bad Palestinians!

This is a great article in a Farsi Blog from Iran. The author is a student in an Iranian student who is very critical of this phony Islamic government. He is an amazing writer. I have translated it for those who do not read Farsi.

.

Translation:
Today was Quds day. In some ways, today is a symbol of supporting Palestinians to achieve their human rights. Maybe this day has become the victim of political game and has lost its true meaning. On the other hand, there is this question that why this day does not have credit even among the residence of West Bank or Gaza. However, the subject of this article is not about Palestine or Day of Quds or what is a humane way to achieve Palestinian goals. The subject is a look at freedom and justice.

During the time that all media (Iranian Medias) are covering stories about how “oppressed” the Palestinians are, there is another event taking place on the other side of Asia. The monks of Burma, tired of decades of military dictatorship with a peaceful move started pouring to the streets to show their dissatisfaction with lack of democracy in their nation. This movement that continued for several days was ended by clashes between the military personnel and hundreds of the monks. However what is interesting is the way that Iranian News Agencies released this news. The news anchor, after talking about clashes in Palestine and several explosions in Iraq, he reported the clashes like this:

“Some of the people who are depended on foreign agents tried to disturb the peace in Burma and they were confronted with government interference. These thugs are supported by Americans and Westerners.”

In other national news segments, it is less likely that they would refer anything to Marshal Law in Burma and violent oppression of the protesters. Maybe the reason behind this event is the name or the style of this movement: Saffron Revolution that is supported by Westerners.

We support North Korea and Syria because they are enemies of the U.S. We do not support Muslims of Chechnya and Balkans because Americans support them. This split of choice works for Palestinians too.

This goes to extend that we openly do anything to jeopardize Abbas’s attempts to achieve peace by manipulating Hamas against them. In these situations, speaking about Justice and world peace is kind of ridiculous.

Israel Never Forgets!

This is the best news I have received in ages. I never forget that day. It was seven years ago on October 10th. Violence had just started in Israel and Palestinians had poured to the street. These two soldiers lost their way and ended up in a Palestinian town. Palestinian mob acted like animals (what a surprise!?) and lynched them. I never forget the picture and the video clips I was seeing. They first broke through the barriers and went upstairs and started beating. Then they threw them out of the building. Then they started beating them more and mutiliated them. Then they set them on fire when they were not dead yet. If that was not bad enough, they danced around their burning bodies. Israel vowed that the people responsible for it will not go unpunished. Israel followed through its promise. Last week, members of Tzayeret Tzankhanim (paratroopers) arrested the last member of that mob. Click here for the full story.

It took them seven years to capture every single one of those animals. The process of capturing these barbarians was very interesting. Every year, once in a while we would hear in the news that another one of them was either killed or arrested. My favorite one is the one where the Border Patrol special units captured one of them at his wedding. I was reading one of the terrorist apologists’ writing that Zionists soldiers capture poor Palestinian during their wedding nights. I bet they were referring to this guy who set two human beings on fire (poor Palestinians! They can’t lynch two people and get away!). Another incident was that when they captured the guy who showed his bloody hand at the window, the border patrol units made him raise his handcuffed hands to reporters. I am also very happy that the soldiers did not shoot him dead. The reason is these animals will suffer more in jail for the rest of their lives. If Israel would have killed this guy, he would have turn into a hero. In this case, he is not going to meet his virgins anytime soon, plus he is going to someone else’s virgin for many lonely nights in jail. I just hope they suffer as much as possible in jail.

Israeli lives will always be avenged and it should be done by any means necessary. It is time to teach the world that the lives of Jews do matter and you cannot just away with lynching them. Words cannot express how happy I am.
