Islamic Republic of Iran’s Style of Entertainment

I have decided to post another segment on IRP’s form of entertainment and translate it. It is for the world to see the type idiots who have taken over Iran and Iran’s rich culture and replaced it with public hanging. This song is a follow up why we have public hanging in Iran today. The translation is fairly accurate but there are parts of it I am not sure of because it is sometimes hard to hear what he is singing.

Translation:
“If you haven’t seen crazy, they call us crazy. If you haven’t heard crazy, they call us crazy. I used to be smart one day too, your love drove me crazy; it drove me out of the city sane people. Sanity has escaped my brain and craziness has replaced it. Whatever you have to say, say it to G-d because He has taken away my sanity. Whoever is happy with their lover, my lover is Hussein (symbol of Martyrdom in Shia religion); and the one has stolen my heart, my voice is Hussein. Instead of being a lover, they call us crazy. Let them say whatever they want to say, bad or good we’re crazy. I used to be smart one day too, and your love drove me out of city of sanity”

My thoughts:
Look at the word right behind the singer (Helali); it says “Shaheed” which means martyrdom. By the beat you are hearing is not clapping but rather they are either hitting their head or chest. This clip is for those who are trying to figure out what happened to Iran that resulted in the clip of my previous post (hanging of three people). This is what has happened. The religion of peace has become the authority of the government. This guy is openly saying that he is crazy and insane. If this was a private practice, such as people practicing their religion, it would be ok. However, this is type of activity that government is actually encouraging and using as idea form of humanity. Iranian ruling government is truly an insane government. Whether it is the love of G-d or martyrdom or Hussein, it is irrelevant. When you have a group of people like this ruling a government, the value of human life will decline in that region. These guys that you are watching are the ruling government of Iran and they openly defy what the world considers to be logic. This song is a perfect example of who is in charge in Iran and what their ideology is and logical it is to allow such a group acquires nuclear weapons.

A Video from my Birth Country-Thank You Religion of Peace!

Warning: this video is extremely graphic and if you are already depressed, it will definitely not help you.

Oh G-d, what has happened to the country I was born in? I can’t write anything about it. This just happened recently; therefore do not write a comment saying that this practice has been stopped. Just to be honest we have made some progress, Iran does not conduct stoning someone to death any more. They simply hang now. However, it is still depressing to see crimes like this to take place in the country you are born in.

All those terrorists apologists are claiming “Shah” was bad, but I guess this government is a lot better, because they now simply defy the international world and want to create a 2nd Holocaust. Ahhh, I am not going into details, I believe this video represent what this revolution did to the people of Iran. Men and Women!

One Year Anniversary of my Blog

I started this blog last year with the same picture and congratulating myself for finally getting myself to write. It is almost one year anniversary of my blog. I remember when I started this blog last year, I was trying to somehow find a way to express my thoughts and feelings. I started this blog to show that there is still a light at the end of the tunnel. I was trying to declare that there is still some sanity left in this world. Or at least I think it is sanity. I could be very wrong because the standards changes based on society’s opinion of what is right or wrong. I started this blog in a way to find an inner-peace by writing about what is going on in my life or around the world. Last year, my life was a lot different. Well, a year has passed and I still haven’t discovered the inner peace I was searching for. As a matter of fact, I am becoming very displeased with politics as time goes by. Iraq is a mess, Palestinians are divided and that means no chance for peace, Lebanon is divided and there is no proof that soldiers will be home anytime soon, and many other depressing news of Iran. It is as if I don’t want to read the news anymore and I am trying to distance myself from politics.

Even though I am very displeased with what is going on around the world and I absolutely see no hope for humanity or political sanity, this blog will continue. I think this blog is in some certain way a relaxation tool. I escape from the harsh world of law school to write about my thoughts in here. Here are some of the facts about my blog in the past year:

I have received about Sixteen thousand hits from December of last year until today which July 22nd which is not that high. The data for prior time is not available because I hadn’t set up the web counter. Most of the readers are from North America; however there are also many readers from different region mainly Europe and South America.

I have written about 50 posts; some have been video clips with my own comments, video clips without comments, or just articles. Most of the articles have been about Israel and Middle East politics. However, there has been couple of article about Iran and one article about our domestic justice system. For the month of September, I did not write anything because I had just started law school and I had no time for anything else. As it becomes apparent, December of last year I started writing more articles and that is simply because I was trying to take a break from law school finals. The months of April, May, and Jun have the highest number of posts in them.

This blog also went through two major makeovers. I am still not happy with this template but it is the most organized version available. So I am going to stick to it for a while. I have recently added two video categories that are “Comedy” and “Movies”; I will update them in near future.

Well, I can’t believe one year has passed.

Human Shield, Palestinian Style!

Oh man, this clip surprised me big time. Yes I had heard that Palestinian so-called freedom fighter were using children for protection, however I never imagined the cruelty involved in such action. I just want to point out this video to those who condemn Israel left and right for alleged human-shield cases, yet they turn a complete blind eye to these crime committed by Palestinian involving CHILDREN!! They refer to these groups as righteous groups, freedom fighters, and they glorify these groups’ activities every opportunity they get (which is very rare because of the barbaric and uncivilized nature of these groups), yet they love to somehow find some small detail against Israel to blow it out of proportion and destroy Jew’s image around the globe. I am going to compare the two cases and by the end, it will appear that any sane person without any prejudice or biased opinion should and could differentiate between the two tactics.

Well, let me differentiate the two worst case scenarios. When Israeli commandos conduct a raid on a terrorist nest, they usually grab the guard or someone member of that terrorist cell and they push him inside while the commandos would follow behind him. The reason is very simple: if the terrorist sees his own brother or comrade, he is not going to shoot at the soldiers or at least he is going to hesitate a second or two. It will create an atmosphere of confusion because the other terrorist is going to think twice before shooting at the soldiers when he sees his friend or someone he identifies with could be hurt. Therefore, it gives the soldier 1-3 second advantage to aim and take down the terrorist before the terrorist could pull the trigger. It will basically act as a protector for the soldier. Can it be classified as human shield? Yes, the reason is because you are using a human as your shield. Should be condemned? Depends, if women and children are being used, yes it should be condemned and the violator should be tried. However, if it is another militant or someone affiliated with the house or the terrorist, it should not be condemned. There is not a single shred of hard evidence (such as Video or unbiased witnesses) to prove that Israeli elite units has ever used women or children. There have been stories about it, but again in Palestinian areas, many baseless stories always float around which has no probative value except to be considered as conspiracy theories. It is very understandable why they soldiers use this tactic. The soldier has showed up to fight or he is conducting an activity that is considered a hostile act toward another group of people who are there to kill him. These soldiers use this tactic for their own protections. They have assumed the risks of battlefield to some extend by conducting an activity with such dangerous nature. At the same time, why should Israeli soldiers risk their own life when they could protect their own lives through gaining and advantage by using enemy’s soldiers? What makes the risk of harm to one group more important than the risk of harm to another group?

The next question is what is difference between Israeli soldier actions and the terrorist’s use of human shield as shown in the clip above? The answer to this question has two parts to it. The differences are class of people being used as shield, intent, and the outcome of utilizing such tactic. These so-called Palestinian freedom fighters are using their own citizens for shield. How could a so-called protective force utilize their citizens for safety? These groups identify themselves as protector of Palestine. They should put their citizens’ safety above their own safety, not the other way around. That’s what makes it a coward act. Israeli soldiers are not using their own for human shield. Yes I know people are going to refer to this statement as a racist statement, however when you are in a hostile environment, you are going to utilize anything and everything to protect your men’s lives. The other side is your enemy; it is not the difference of race but rather classification of enemy v. friend. It is a coward act to hide behind your OWN people.

Another difference between the two tactics is the intent of the parties and the outcome of using human-shield. Israeli soldiers use those terrorist for their own protection. Palestinian terrorist use these kids for their own protection too. However they also intent to maximize the benefit by also winning the moral battle too. In here, these terrorist are very well aware that it is unlikely that these Israeli soldier are going to return fire when they see the children. Therefore, they could easily target IDF soldiers without risking their own lives. To complete the mission, they are going to keep shooting at these soldiers to provoke these soldiers to respond as would any normal person when they are being shot at. Therefore the kid is going to get shot and it works just perfectly for the terrorist. No body is going to blame the terrorists for the death of the kid. In Palestinian media, they are going to report that Israeli “occupational” soldiers opened fire on little kids. The Western media is not going to be any different either. The next day’s article in BBC is going to say, “Israel soldiers shot dead a Palestinian kid.” And then the global outcry of Leftists nut jobs and anti-Semites are going to follow. Therefore, the outcome and intent of using this type of human shield is very different than IDF commando tactic. IDF’s outcome and intent is simply protection of its units, terrorists’ intent and outcome is basically provoking Israeli response and defamation of Israel’s character on the global scene and buying more sympathy for their evil cause.

The tactic that Israeli elite forces use for their own protection is not very rare. Almost every single SWAT or anti-terrorist task unit around the globe, regardless of race or religion does utilize this because it gives their unit an advantage. However, the U.N Human Rights Commission loves to pick on Israel and treat Israel very unfairly. They seem to completely ignore Palestinians tactics and instead condemn Israel for the death of Palestinian kids. Do they even know that they are being used as a tool by terrorist groups? It does not make a bit difference between intent or outcome or anything logical for such commission, because they have ulterior motives for condemning Israel. However, I just hope people come to their senses and differentiate between the two cases now. I keep my eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel.

One Year Anniversary of Lebanon War

Today is the start of the second Lebanon War of last summer. Well, even though the results of the war are conflicting based on each side, yet as Jews we never fail to honor our soldiers. They fought and they fought very hard. If mistakes were made, it wasn’t because of our soldiers, rather the problem lingered with command. However, Israelis proved one more time that that they are united. Close to 60,000 reservists were recalled and only one coward chose not to show up! This clip is to honor IDF men who fought in that war.

P.S. This is a clip from Nahal Infantry Unit. In future, I will post three clips of their battles in Lebanon.
