Good Palestinians, Bad Palestinians!

This is a great article in a Farsi Blog from Iran. The author is a student in an Iranian student who is very critical of this phony Islamic government. He is an amazing writer. I have translated it for those who do not read Farsi.

.

Translation:
Today was Quds day. In some ways, today is a symbol of supporting Palestinians to achieve their human rights. Maybe this day has become the victim of political game and has lost its true meaning. On the other hand, there is this question that why this day does not have credit even among the residence of West Bank or Gaza. However, the subject of this article is not about Palestine or Day of Quds or what is a humane way to achieve Palestinian goals. The subject is a look at freedom and justice.

During the time that all media (Iranian Medias) are covering stories about how “oppressed” the Palestinians are, there is another event taking place on the other side of Asia. The monks of Burma, tired of decades of military dictatorship with a peaceful move started pouring to the streets to show their dissatisfaction with lack of democracy in their nation. This movement that continued for several days was ended by clashes between the military personnel and hundreds of the monks. However what is interesting is the way that Iranian News Agencies released this news. The news anchor, after talking about clashes in Palestine and several explosions in Iraq, he reported the clashes like this:

“Some of the people who are depended on foreign agents tried to disturb the peace in Burma and they were confronted with government interference. These thugs are supported by Americans and Westerners.”

In other national news segments, it is less likely that they would refer anything to Marshal Law in Burma and violent oppression of the protesters. Maybe the reason behind this event is the name or the style of this movement: Saffron Revolution that is supported by Westerners.

We support North Korea and Syria because they are enemies of the U.S. We do not support Muslims of Chechnya and Balkans because Americans support them. This split of choice works for Palestinians too.

This goes to extend that we openly do anything to jeopardize Abbas’s attempts to achieve peace by manipulating Hamas against them. In these situations, speaking about Justice and world peace is kind of ridiculous.

The IR are hypocrites of course, but an important thing always left out of these discussions is that the Palestinians were a defeated Axis ally after World War 2. Why is it that every other ally of Hitler pretty much agreed to the terms of their defeat except for these guys? I think there is an unimaginable amount of chauvinism in that part of the world that causes the people to become self-delusional. It's impossible for them to imagine that they lost the war, so they are capable of convincing themselves that they were not defeated by others but were rather self-defeated. Here's a nice link to a picture of Hitler in his famous alliance discussions with the Grand Mufti of Palestine for those that would deny such alliance.

But they lost because they allied themselves with Hitler. That was the original loss that caused the taking of their land. They are victims of being born to a culture whose leadership was on the wrong side of history, but so were Germans, Italians, and Japanese. You don't see a Japanese move to reannex Korea or a German move to reannex Poland because those groups recognize that they lost. The Arab world generally is incapable of that kind of recognition.

Yeah but the thing is Germans or Japanese don't have a claim to that land. At the same time, they were fueled by ideology, not religion. When a group of people is fueled by religion, they will never accept defeat. You could always defeat ideology, but never religion. Why? simple: ideology's purpose in life is a "promise of better future", once they don't deliver that, they found to be defeated. However, religion promise a better "after life" or "eternal life" and that means even if you get killed, you will have a better future. Therefore, this concept can never be defeated. Now palestinians, same issue! As they always say, "they have never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity"... they are thhe victim of corruption and religion and empty nationalism.

...quit lumping all Palestinians into one nice little package... some people consider themselves Palestinians just because they're Arabs whose families lived in the former Palestine, or continue to live in the former Palestine, now Israel.

I have Eastern Orthodox Christian cousins who live peacefully in Ramleh, Israel, and aren't afraid to say their family is Palestinian; this is despite the stigma from the assumptions people make of being of such heritage, as one might as well say "hi, nice to meet you. I support Hamas and you can consider me a terrorist!"

I like you, Ben. We disagree on certain things, but for the most part, we're both open-minded. We can have intelligent opinionated conversations about things such as this. (though I'm not commenting on this article so much as the generalization of Palestinian mentality)

I know you understand what I'm saying. It's important to not judge people on the example of the "bad seeds" that just happen to always be the ones in the news. (Day to day life is boring, so i don't blame the media only showing suicide bombers, and Hamas ass-fucks... who wants to read an article titled "Old Palestinian woman drinks coffee with neighbor-friend" or "Palestinian Dad picks up children from school, Buys afternoon snacks"?)

ahem, sorry about all that. Have a good day, Habibi.

Very interesting article indeed. And so true. Who is Iran to lecture any one on human rights, when Bahai can not even worship freely in their country?

VERY interesting article Ben. This is one of the best posts you've had.

IR and its state-run media talking about human rights is like Michael Vick talking about animal rights!! You know what I mean? lol

At a lot of demonstrations in Iran today, people denounce IR's policy of giving millions of money to Arab terrorist groups but zero money to developing Iran's economy and infrastructure. This government is dependent on the people barely surviving economically.

thank you very much but I have to say, it is not my article, I only translated it. I would love to take the credit for it but I cannot.

About Iran: they are simply going to be hit. These protests are not strong enough to do anything. This government is way too ruthless and they will simply just jail and kill most of those protesters. As simple as that. There is no hope for Iran and every know it.

One more thing: guess who are they going to use to kill these protesters: the good faithful terrorist who are dependent on this government for their salaries

---Lucky for the Iranian government, ahem, terrorist regime, those people have been *so* brainwashed that they feel privileged to a "martyr".
Such an "honor" is enough that Iran doesn't have to pay even the most meager restitution for the trouble terrorists go through to blow themselves (more importantly to them, everyone in their vicinity) to smithereens...
but they're more than happy to foot the bill for the explosives.
